Sales Manager – USA Engineering Thermoplastics Compounds (EP) and Polytron LFT

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead market development and expand our business in the USA for Engineering Thermoplastics Compounds (EP) and Polytron LFT. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and creating opportunities in diverse industries such as automotive, firearms, sporting goods, and electronics & electricals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities for relevant applications in EP and Polytron LFT.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen existing customer relationships while actively fostering new connections.
  • Project Creation: Initiate and drive new project opportunities in alignment with company objectives.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through strategic and focused efforts.
  • Budget Management: Develop, present, and execute annual budgets, ensuring financial performance and resource optimization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or an MBA (preferred).
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of raw materials in the plastics industry, with a focus on thermoplastic solutions.
  • Global Business Acumen: Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and adhering to global industry standards.
  • International Sales Experience: Proven success in international sales, including collaboration with foreign companies (e.g., Polyram).
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong expertise in negotiation techniques to secure advantageous deals.
  • Proactive Approach: Initiative-driven with the ability to identify and act on opportunities independently.
  • Relationship Building: Outstanding interpersonal skills for fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Flexibility to Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to meet client and market demands.
  • Professional Traits: Assertiveness, reliability, and a strong service-oriented mindset.
